Indifference.

Indifference will result in being a toxic being to self and others.

I once chanced upon this video by Ellen DeGeneres where she tried to seek help after she came out on her sitcom and everyone turned against her. She didn’t have a ring up for years yet she suppressed and won at her own depression to do her own talk show.

She says something along this line; If you feel different and depressed. Don’t worry… because:

“Things will get easier, people’s minds will change, and you should be alive to see it.”

And the above stuck in my head till now.

I decided to keep on trying. Suppressing my own demons within. There is nothing sort of giving up. Trying to find that winning formula through limited time and money but I know I will figure it, outgrown it and finally succeed.

The first thing on my mind is to create an ample runway for budget flow. Everyone have their own stories. Their debts, their commitments and there could be a way to figure something out.

I figure out mine through crypto investing and copy trading (forex trading). I learnt and made a lot of friends through this. And just kept on moving, to grow the pie. It’s a long tedious process but I made it happened. I had never thought I would grow from a Teletext-reader for my dad to a leisure trader/ investor myself.

No one ever thought I would one day become a Semi-SAHM and work from home and created a work-from-home empire. No one. So the key… Taking risks sometimes will lead you to surprises and perhaps, one will get to enjoy the whole process. 😉

Shall pen down more thoughts on my mumtechpreneur journey in my next post. 🙂

2019 Plans

2 Months Down and seems like I’ve not achieve anything. I guess I need a Marie Kondo weekly to declutter my thoughts, decide to plan down what I need to do by end of this year:

  • Launch Piggyback
  • Followup on Scentimental
  • Clear off my bad debts. I will speak about this soon.
  • Aim to sell $100,000 worth of items via E-Commerce
  • Create a passive income wallet through positive and stressfree channels.
  • Create a Parenting Blog. 😛

Seems like I should be looking out at these 6, firmly and with focus and I calculated that if I need 1 million to retire by age 40. I would need to save approx $10k per month.

This amount is doable based on calculations. 🙂

Change

Today marks my 6th year with my current employer in Public Service. These 6 years spelt alot of challenges and somehow it witness a few of my milestones.

  1. My kids who grew from babies to toddler and soon, young teen.
  2. I bought my first car while on the job.
  3. Promotion was in for me.

Would definitely credit this to my colleagues, the bosses for everything for this wonderful 6 years.

However due to some reasons, a change out from the comfort zone is inevitable to grow and not many knew, I took up an offer to be based in Kuala Lumpur for a Fintech, a totally new industry to me.

I had my doubts and I had my thoughts. The fear of being alone, the thought of missing my girls and their growing up haunts and daunts me deeply, but for a better life. I need to be trained stronger while on the first list was on my list was to clear the debts.

Many knew, I need to pay off a large amount of debt amounting more than $100,000 but well, I know I can do it and will be able to do it. ^^

Shall start on my Goodbye Debt diary to minute and pen down this journey to financial freedom and no doubt, it’s stressful to go through it. LOL.
Sometimes I wonder, why housing cost a bomb in Singapore. 😦

But no matter what, always remember to do good. 🙂

Merits begets Positive Energy.

P.S: I guess 2017 will be a good year despite me brawling my eyes out when I was on the line with my girls while I made my way back from KL. 🙂
